Bustle day dress
made from patterned silk
Period: around 1883
For this plain promenade dress we decide for light-blue-cream-patterned silk.
The lower skirt was furnished with three tiers of pleated flounces with top one being divided at the center and gathered multiple times at the back. There are an additional underskirt and steel bustle below the other two skirts.
As model served contemporary prints and original cuts.
